On Friday, November 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Orphanet-Spain, in collaboration with IDIVAL and the SCS, will organize the course “Orphanet Coding and Nomenclature”. The course is aimed at staff from Hospital Admission Services, Clinical Documentation, and Information Systems, as well as physicians and other healthcare professionals. Professionals involved in ERNs (European Reference Networks), Registries, and CSURs (Reference Centers, Services, and Units) will have priority access.
This course aims to promote the use of ORPHA coding in hospital information systems—particularly within nodes linked to an ERN, Registry, or CSUR—through information sharing, training, and technical support for professionals.
The program consists of three sessions:
Mª Elena Mateo and Noelia Millán, both Scientific Documentalists at CIBERER / Orphanet-Spain, will lead this training activity.
Registration deadline: Friday, November 14.
Registrations will be confirmed once all applications have been reviewed. The course has a maximum capacity of 30 participants. If the number of applications exceeds this limit, a future edition may be organized to meet existing training needs.
