On November 10, the “Precision Medicine in Pulmonology Forum” will begin, as part of the “International Precision Medicine Forum”. This event will address the main advances and trends in the field of pulmonology, delving into pulmonary pathologies that affect the airways, lung parenchyma, and rare pulmonary diseases. The program promotes understanding of genetic mechanisms that shed light on the diagnosis and personalized treatment of respiratory diseases, representing a significant step forward in daily clinical practice.
The course is directed by Dr. José Manuel Cifrián Martínez, Head of the Pulmonology Department at Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital.
In addition to the endorsements of ITEMAS, the SCReN platform, the Biobanks and Biomodels Platform of the ISCIII, and the Spanish Society of Clinical Pharmacology, this particular forum is also endorsed by the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR).
The program is aimed at clinical, research, and support staff who wish to deepen their knowledge in pulmonology-related topics with guidance from experts.
Schedule: November 10–12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A certificate will be provided to all participants who attend at least 80% of the sessions. The program is pending accreditation by the Commission for Continuing Education.
