From October 6 to 9, IDIVAL is organizing the course entitled “Good Practices and Problem Solving in Biomedical Laboratories,” led by María José Marín, Coordinator of IDIVAL’s Technological Services and Scientific Director of the Biobank.
This course will provide participants with a comprehensive and practical overview of Good Laboratory Practices, strengthening their professional performance and contributing to the institutional development of the research centers in which they work.
The program has a total duration of 12 teaching hours, of which 9 will be theoretical and 3 practical. The course will take place in classroom 318 at IDIVAL, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory (100%) and will be monitored through signature collection at each session. This training activity is accredited by the Continuing Education Commission for Healthcare Professionals.
The course is aimed at staff employed by or affiliated with IDIVAL, particularly laboratory technicians, researchers, healthcare personnel, and students in the biomedical field who perform or will perform tasks in cell culture facilities and wish to strengthen their skills in aseptic handling and contamination prevention. The maximum number of participants is 30, and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of applicants exceeds the available spots, a maximum of two people per research group will be admitted.
