3 de October de 2025

The Health Research Institute of Cantabria (IDIVAL) and Nebrija University inaugurated a new edition of the Master’s in Health Innovation Management and Leadership (MINDS) at the Fundación Botín headquarters in Madrid. Since 2021, this pioneering program has trained professionals to lead change in the healthcare sector.

The opening event brought together representatives from organizations supporting the program – Johnson & Johnson, the Regional Ministry of Health of Cantabria, and the Fundación Botín – who emphasized the crucial role of innovation as the driving force behind transformation in healthcare management.

The inaugural session included a keynote lecture by Ignacio Medrano, founder of Savana, the graduation ceremony for the third cohort, and the official welcome of 20 new professionals joining the program. This new class reflects the diversity of MINDS, bringing together clinicians, researchers, managers, and executives to collaborate and exchange expertise.

The teaching faculty, with both national and international reach, is made up of leading experts in innovation, law, management, and healthcare practice. The program is directed by Galo Peralta, General Director of IDIVAL, and Joaquín Cayón de las Cuevas, Director of the Health Law and Bioethics Research Group (GRIDES) at IDIVAL.

Consolidated as a benchmark in training for healthcare innovation, MINDS seeks to build an ecosystem of talent that fosters transformative projects and strengthens the commitment to improving healthcare systems.
