IDIVAL collaborates in the AIMPLAS – Plastics Academy Course “3D printing of materials for product development”

The Marqués de Valdecilla Research Institute (IDIVAL) is participating as a collaborating entity in the course “3D Printing of Materials for Product Development”, organized by AIMPLAS – Plastics Academy, which will be held online from November 20 to December 22, 2025.

This 30-hour training program is aimed at professionals in the fields of design, engineering, and materials development who wish to expand their knowledge of additive manufacturing and its applications in the creation of innovative products.

IDIVAL’s collaboration will take shape through the participation of a professional from its Prototyping Unit as a speaker, who will share the institute’s experience in applying 3D printing technology to the healthcare sector. This IDIVAL unit has promoted numerous projects focused on developing devices, tools, and functional prototypes that combine technology, design, and health—bringing a practical and real-world perspective to the training program.

The course will cover key topics such as the main materials used in 3D printing, design optimization techniques, industry trends, and the integration of additive manufacturing into innovation processes.

With this initiative, AIMPLAS and IDIVAL strengthen their commitment to knowledge transfer and specialized training in technologies that drive industrial transformation and applied innovation.
