IDIVAL Groups Synergies

On Wednesday, February 18, Carmen María Sarabia Cobo will deliver a session as part of the IDIVAL Synergies Groups programme. The session will take place at 14:00 in the Innovation and User Experience Laboratory – Linnux, and will be broadcast live via the Zoom platform.

“From Care to Projects: Research on Chronic Diseases and Health Literacy. JACARDI Project”

Carmen M. Sarabia Cobo is the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and an Associate Professor at the University of Cantabria (Spain). She completed her PhD at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), focusing on mild cognitive impairment and emotional processing. She is a specialist in neuropsychology, ageing, and dementia, and she coordinates the IDIVAL Nursing Research Group.

Carmen holds a PhD in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in neurodegenerative diseases and ageing. She also holds degrees in Social and Cultural Anthropology and in Psychology from UNED, as well as a Nursing degree from the University of Cantabria. Her research areas include nursing and ageing, dementia and neurodegenerative diseases, chronic conditions in adults, quality of life in people with dementia, and burnout and stress among professionals and caregivers of people with dementia.

The session will begin at 14:00. The talk will last approximately 40 minutes, followed by a short discussion and a light refreshment.
