The Marqués de Valdecilla Research Institute (IDIVAL) has organized, together with Mutua Montañesa, an awareness day on occupational risk prevention based on the use of virtual reality—an innovative technology that allows participants to experience risk situations in safe and immersive environments.
During the activity, participants used virtual reality headsets to practice a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuver in a simulated setting, enabling them to acquire basic skills for responding to this type of emergency in a controlled and safe environment.
The initiative aims to strengthen preventive culture and promote safe behaviors through practical experiences that foster greater awareness of occupational risks and the importance of prevention.
With this training session, IDIVAL reinforces its commitment to new methodologies that combine technological innovation and experiential learning to contribute to the safety, health, and well-being of people in the workplace.
Biomedical research and innovation are only possible thanks to everyone’s collaboration. This is how we move forward in improving the health of patients and the wider community
