The Marqués de Valdecilla Research Institute (IDIVAL) and the Health Department of the Government of Cantabria are organizing the fourth edition of the National Forum on Health Innovation Management – Building Minds, an event already established as a key meeting point for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and reflection on healthcare innovation.
The Forum, co-directed by Galo Peralta, Managing Director of IDIVAL, and Joaquín Cayón, Head of the Legal Service of the Health Department and Director of the Research Group on Health Law and Bioethics at the institute, will take place on April 24 at the Botín Foundation, bringing together professionals, managers, clinicians, and researchers from across Spain. The event will also feature the participation of the Regional Minister of Health of Cantabria, César Pascual, along with other prominent speakers from the healthcare, institutional, and academic fields.
The program offers a dynamic agenda structured into four thematic panels addressing the main challenges and opportunities in healthcare innovation from a multidisciplinary perspective. Following the institutional welcome, the session “Challenges of Innovation in Health” will analyze the current challenges of the healthcare system and the key factors needed to drive innovative models.
Throughout the day, the Forum will combine technical content with creative and cross-cutting approaches. Panel 1, “Innovation Sounds Good,” will explore the connection between creativity and innovation in health. Panel 2 will focus on the relationship between nutrition, science, and health.
In the afternoon session, Panel 3, “Innovation Gets in Shape,” will address practical experiences in management, while Panel 4, “Innovation Is in Fashion,” will offer an inspiring look at emerging trends and will feature contributions from various leading experts and professionals.
The event will conclude with a space for final reflections and closing remarks, summarizing the main ideas and insights shared throughout the day.
