IDIVAL calls - Idival

Valdecilla environment has a series of programs to support research for the development of projects in the biosanitary environment of Cantabria aimed at promoting and attracting talent and innovation.

Purpose: hiring for training of a senior technician to support the research platforms through a 2-year internship training contract.
Requirements: graduates of the second cycle (master's degree or bachelor's degree), in which no more than five years have elapsed, or seven when the contract is concluded with a worker with a disability, since the completion of studies. If the worker is under 30 years of age, the date of completion of the studies is not taken into account.
Salary: first year: € 17,384, second year: € 18,543
Application deadlines: 1 to 28 February.

Purpose: hiring for training of 3 senior technicians of support in research management through a 2-year internship training contract.
Requirements: graduates of the second cycle (master's degree or bachelor's degree), in which no more than five years have elapsed, or seven when the contract is concluded with a worker with a disability, since the completion of studies. Object: incorporation of health professionals of excellent profile who have completed the period of specialized training in any hospital of the National Health System, to the translational research activity and healthcare innovation of the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital.
Requirements: residents who have completed their specialty in 2018 or are going to finish it in 2019.
Salary: € 38,230 per year.
Application deadlines: pending to be convened by the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital.

Purpose: to finance contracts of up to 4 years for the development of the doctoral thesis.
Requirements: meet the requirements for access to doctoral programs at the University of Cantabria.
Financing: salary € 16,422 per year. In addition, the program includes mobility aids during the contract.
Application deadlines: pending joint call IDIVAL-University of Cantabria.

Purpose: financing of the operating expenses of the IDIVAL research groups.
Requirements: have an accredited Research Group in IDIVAL. Expenses to be executed before December 31, 2020.
Amount: calculated based on the production of the year 2018 through the formula indicated in the call, up to a total maximum of € 300,000.
Application deadlines: from January 15 to February 15.
Bases of the call.

Purpose: financing of research projects led by researchers emerging from the IDIVAL environment, for their development in the biosanitary environment of Cantabria.
Requirements: principal investigator of less than 45 years and without previous projects of this call, the Inn-Val call, or the National Plan. The research team will consist of at least three people at least half of the biosanitary environment of Cantabria.
Financing: maximum € 25,000 per project. Total funding of the call €100,000.
Application deadlines: March 15 to April 15.
Bases of the call.

Purpose: financing of innovation projects led by researchers from the IDIVAL environment, for their development in the biosanitary environment of Cantabria.
Requirements: principal investigator of the IDIVAL environment and without active projects of the Inn-Val call. The research team will consist of at least three people at least half of the biosanitary environment of Cantabria.
Financing: maximum € 25,000 per project. Total funding of the call €100,000.
Application deadlines: from April 15 to May 15.
Bases of the call.

Purpose: to temporarily finance researchers who have submitted projects through the IDIVAL to the National Plan and who have been well evaluated in these calls.
Requirements: principal investigator with at least one project financed in the last three years and project submitted to the last call of the National Plan with a minimum qualification of 80% on the minimum cutoff point necessary to obtain financing in the Strategic Action in Health or "B" in the evaluation carried out by the State Research Agency in the State Program for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical Research of Excellence.
Financing: maximum of 60% of the third or fourth of the total requested according to the project has been requested for three or four years respectively, without exceeding € 25,000. The duration of the aid will be 1 year, renewable without modification of the amount granted.
Application deadlines: February 1 to 15.

Object: partial substitution of the assistance activity (intensification) for the development of research or innovation projects.
Requirements: be a health professional, doctor or nurse of the Public Health System of Cantabria, and not have simultaneous active intensifications of other programs. Mode A is competitive and is financed by this program. B modality or self-intensification requires contribution of funds by the candidate.
Financing: in the competitive modality it is possible to finance up to a maximum of 36 months of approximate substitution of physicians or 72 months of nursing staff for a total amount of € 180,000.
Application deadlines: in mode A, from March 15 to April 15, 2019; in mode B or autointensification, at least two months before the start of autointensification.

Purpose: financing for the implementation of the research activity of new heads of department or section from other centers.
Requirements: The researcher who requests access to the program must have a remarkable career as a specialist and researcher, of at least 5 years and have agreed to a Service or Section Headquarters at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital in the 6th months before the request.
Financing: economic bag for the development of research projects of at least € 100,000 to be executed in 5 years.
Application deadlines: call permanently open.

Purpose: recruitment of new clinical professionals in training and for the start of their research career during their specialized training.
Requirements: choose in 2019 the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital as training center as a specialist in the National Health System -MIR, FIR, QIR, PIR, RIR or BIR, and have an order number in the 5th percentile of the places selected in each of the programs offered.
Financing: As of the second year, the candidate will have a € 8,000 exchange for the development of research activities that will be managed according to IDIVAL project management standards.
Application deadlines: Within six months after joining the first year as a resident at the University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla.

Purpose: financing of research projects in primary care in Cantabria.
Requirements: principal investigator of attention first of Cantabria. At least half of the research team must belong to IDIVAL, Public Health System of Cantabria or University of Cantabria.
Financing: maximum € 15,000 per project. Total funding of the call €30,000.
Application deadlines: 1 to May 31.

Purpose: to promote the mobility of personnel with a predoctoral contract to facilitate the mobility of predoctoral personnel, hired through the joint call between IDIVAL and the University of Cantabria.
Requirements: have an active predoctoral contract for calls prior to 2018.
Financing: maximum per stay € 5000.
Application deadlines: January 15 to February 15.
