Extraordinary call for research support technicians training program TEC-VAL open until June 17

An excellent opportunity to train in the clinical trials unit of Hospital Valdecilla, a reference unit in clinical trials in northern Spain, which has a team of highly experienced professionals.

In the ordinary call TEC-VAL has been a vacancy so this program is reconvened with the same rules as the previous one.

The training program for research support technicians Valdecilla “TEC-VAL” is a training program that promotes professional practice and training of technicians in aspects related to research support in the field of various support services platforms IDIVAL, which in this call 2023 are specifically directed to the Clinical Trials Unit Valdecilla.

The internship contract will have a duration of 12 months, counting from the date of incorporation. The selected candidate will develop a tutored training itinerary, with periodic evaluations and presentation of a report at the end of the first year.

The TEC-Val program is open to first cycle university graduates. In all cases, these must be official Spanish degrees and, if they have been obtained abroad, they must be officially recognized on the date of the deadline for submitting applications, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The contract may be entered into with those in possession of the required degree, provided that no more than five years have elapsed, or seven, when the contract is entered into with a disabled worker, since the completion of the studies and that they have not previously accessed another internship contract while in possession of the same degree.

Together with the application, applicants must submit the following documentation:

a) Curriculum vitae in CVA format

b) Report of the proposed activities to be carried out by the candidate.

It should include a proposal of the activities to be carried out by the candidate and include general references to the different support services units of IDIVAL, with a more detailed description of those that fit the profile and interests of the candidate: referred to the clinical trials unit or the technological services (biobank or microscopy unit) IDIVAL. For the purposes of the evaluation process, only the information contained in the corresponding curriculum vitae and reports will be taken into account on the closing date of the application submission period. Failure to submit these documents by the deadline will not be correctable and will result in the exclusion of the application during the admission phase.

c) Copy of the DNI.

d) Official academic certification of the studies completed, with details of the subjects taken and grades obtained, and, where appropriate, a copy of the academic degree. corresponding sworn translation.

e) Documentary accreditation of the curricular merits provided (certificate of employment, credentials of the candidate, course certificates stating the duration of these, etc.), without which requirement they will not be taken into consideration.
